Vehicle Description
This wagon-styled A6 is relatively rare since Audi has stopped making these for about a decade. Car is very versatile with large cargo area in the rear and power lift rear hatch and rear wiper. Rear seats can be folded to increase the cargo area. The Quattro all-wheel drive with 3.2L engine has a smooth ride.
New front rotor and front brake pads, new starter - both jobs done in July 2020. All lug studs replaced in Nov 2019. New Interstate battery 2018
The car has Rebuilt title. Back in 2012, this vehicle was involved in an accident with bodily damage which the insurance company deemed too expensive to repair. A dealer rebuilt it and sold to a person from whom I bought in 2015. I understand that rebuilt vehicles have to undergo stringent inspection by DMV to be certified road-worthy. Car has been running great with no major mechanical work done except for the two listed here.
Front bumper has nicks on both sides, as seen in two pictures before last. This has been so for few years and its just not worth fixing. There was a fender bender (passenger front) which has been fixed, but not as good as original. Rims have curb rash.
As there are few A6 Avants, there are not a lot of pricing references to go by. For comparison, I have added screenshot of a dealer listing dated 8th Sep 2020 on Autotrader.com - 2009 A6 Avant, 125k miles, $12,900.
