Used 2008 Mazda RX-8 Anniversary Edition 47k miles - - by for sale in SAINT PETERSBURG, FL

We are very sad to have to sell this car, but my wife had hip surgery and can no longer drive this. We need to replace it with something a lot less aggressive.

This is a Rotary Engine. If you are unfamiliar with Rotary Engines you may want to do a little bit of research to decide if its the right car for you.

This is a Stick Shift / Manual Transmission. This car has a very aggressive clutch. If you don't know how to drive stick, this isn't the car for you.

The car has always been adult owned, non smoker and garage kept. The car has been very well cared for. No aftermarket parts have ever been installed on this car. This car has not been driven on the track or raced on the street.

The 40th Anniversary RX-8 is only available in Metropolitan Gray Exterior with Cosmo Red Leather interior. Mazda has not used this combination on any other version of the RX-8.

Known Issues:
1) Common Issue in this car, the float in the coolant tank sticks and sometimes you get a coolant warning light. I just never got around to fixing this because it's such a minor issue. You need to drain the coolant and replace the tank. I believe they are about $120. The light comes on at times, but most of the time it's off.
2) Common Issue in this car, the factory radio display will occasionally scramble. The radio actually still functions normally when this happens, you just can't read anything on the screen. An aftermarket radio would resolve this issue, but we like the stock look.
3) Minor dings interior and exterior. This is a 2008, it does have a few small chips in the paint and minor cosmetic blemishes. But there are no major blemishes on the interior or exterior. Overall the car is in great condition, but I don't want to present this as a show car.

The price is firm. I won't bore you with how rare or special I feel this car is. But the price is firm. If a rich Mazda Rotary Enthusiast doesn't fly out from Japan to collect this car in a few weeks, then I will consider lowering the price.
