Vehicle Description
Beautiful Black on Black with Wood interior package and 136k miles 4Matic. Very Clean. Runs great. A dream to drive and a lot of car for the money. These retailed for as high as $75,000 new.
I love this car and would keep it forever if my three teenagers weren't getting so big. I have a Land Cruiser still running strong with 300,000 miles and feel like this car could easily do that and more. It just feels and runs solid. When the door closes its closes with a heavy thud.
New oil change and new brake pads within the last 500 miles.
A problem with these cars is the air suspension pump and bag. Eventually the bags will leak and then the pump will run constantly to keep the leaking airbags filled resulting in the pump eventually giving out. Its about an $800 fix to replace both (thats non-dealerhip price... which is probably double this cost). And then it starts all over again and you will have to replace both again about every three or four years. The solution is to replace the airbags and pump with springs, which will last indefinitely unless abused. This car has springs installed.
Classic Design and Fabrication here in Athens has taken care of this car since I've owned it. Rich, the owner, wife has the exact same car. I highly recommend him and will be glad to give you his number. He fixes Porches and Mercedes among other imports. Great guy, honest and reasonable.... highly recommended.
