Used 2008 Subaru Outback Wagon XT Limited 5spd - cars & trucks - by owner... for sale in Lynden, WA

This car was on my bucket list for a long time, so when I had the opportunity to own one I jumped on it. Then, I set about going through the car to make sure it was reliable for driving up to Baker for snowboarding. There were some oil leaks and the previous owner did not have any history for the timing belt so I had the entire engine sealed while it was out including rear main seal. New Aisin timing belt kit with water pump and cam seals. New clutch and flywheel. Subaru's are notorious for oil leaks and the turbo models can be expensive to service some gaskets, so I wanted to make sure that everything was taken care of since I had already paid the labor to have the motor out of the car. All gaskets were Gates or Subaru oem. I am also putting new front brake pad and rotors, and changing the transmission fluid this week. The turbo was replaced by the previous owner as well. All of this work was completed less than 500 miles ago, the low mileage is due to that in the process of having this Outback worked on I had the opportunity to buy a 2005 WRX STI.
I just drove this car up Mt.Baker snowboarding and it performed great. It starts right up, drives well down the road, and has some oomph for when you want to get up to speed. The Limited interior is very nice black leather. Dual power heated seats. Panoramic sunroof. SI drive. Dual climate control, etc. The interior of this car is much more comfortable and nicer than my STI.
I am asking $7,900 for the car. Please take a look at other manual Outback XT's if you can find one and see the prices. The work that I just had completed is very expensive and it should be reliable for a long time.
