Backstory of the car: We've owned it for about 2 and a half years now and for the first year and a half, it was amazing, exactly what you'd expect from a BMW sports car. However, in May 2020, the original N54 motor spun a rod bearing (an extremely uncommon failure in these cars) and because we loved the car so much, we replaced the original motor with another N54 with only 67k miles. I'll include a long list of all parts, mods, and labor done since May of 2020 at the bottom of the post.

The car runs perfectly and the only issue at this point is a slow oil leak with an unknown source. If you want to wrench the car yourself to fix it, or have a shop spend some time on this, you’ll have an amazing sports car. Registration is paid for but the car needs a smog. Catalytic converters have been removed but we still have them and will provide them with the car. Work done in past 11 months:
- N54 motor swapped with 67k miles on it and all seals and bolts were replaced (compression tested and passed)
- Replaced the valve cover, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, both oil filter housing gaskets, vacuum pump seal, intake manifold gaskets, front crankshaft seal, and rear main seal
- New OEM Rear Turbo, gaskets, and o-rings
- All four o2 sensors
- New chain tensioner
- New Index 12 fuel injectors
- New NGK spark plugs
- Replaced 4 of 6 ignition coil packs from old engine
- Starter replaced
- High Pressure Fuel Pump and gasket replaced
- Serpentine Belt replaced
- Chain Tensioner replaced
- Blower Motor replaced (under BMW warranty)
- OEM Cabin Filters replaced
- Front Windshield replaced (cracked while parked outside one of the various shops)
- Upper and Lower Front Windshield Seals replaced
- Driver Side Headlight replaced (old one threw error code)
- Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, and Hood repainted
- Front Bumper Center Trim replaced
- New Hood Struts
- Rear Brake Pads replaced (Hawk Street Pads)
- And I'm probably forgetting some

Transmission Fluid: Ravenol 6HP ATF

*Car currently is reading a camshaft position sensor code so it's in limp mode and has no boost, but it still runs and drives perfectly, and when there's no codes, it's pretty quick. We're figuring out the camshaft sensor code but the car will be sold as is. First come, first serve.*
