This car ran great and was well maintained until the head gasket went in September.
The head gasket appears to be blown between the coolant and cylinder, I see no evidence of coolant mixing with oil, so the bottom end is probably in fair shape. I noticed the issue when the temperature gauge started to drift upwards, and coolant started to get consumed. Looking at the coolant in the radiator, there are plenty of bubbles indicating a head gasket failure. I don't think the car was overheated, so hopefully the head is not warped, but it happened pretty quickly and I can't make any guarantees.
The exterior is in okay shape, there are plenty of rock chips on the front end, and some small damage to the quarter panel near the hatch. These spots have some surface rust. The paint is oxidized and scuffed in many places.
There is some small amount of rust in the wheel wells starting, but overall the car is pretty rust free.
The interior is in good shape. The seats could use a shampooing and there is a small tear in the passenger seat, but other than that the interior is nice.
The tires have plenty of tread left.
All of the electronics work as intended except for the CD player.
The car is inspected, but the inspection is only good through the end of this month (November).
This has been a very reliable and easy to work on car, but I do not have the time to change out the head gasket.
