The M-Sport Package has a factory 1 inch lower M suspension, light alloy M wheels, M front and rear bumpers and side skirts, M entry doorsills, Sport Package Seats, M footrest and perforated leather gear lever knob, Anthracite Headliner, Increased Top Speed Limiter and the multifunction M sport leather steering wheel.
This M Sport Package along with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission in a Coupe E82 is very rare. I had to look a long time to find this car in great condition with this combination. The Manual E82 Coupes out there are rarely with a M Package / Sport Seats.

This 128i has been cared for very well with nothing but original BMW parts, preserving it's like new mechanical and cosmetic condition with preventative maintenance. The previous owner was an enthusiast, just like me, and visited the BMW dealer every weekend for fun to keep the car in the best condition possible. The M steering wheel cover started to show wear around the buttons and has therefore been replaced with a brand new one ($230 original dealer part with necessary removal of airbag, which was replaced at the same time due to a recall). The IHKA air conditioning unit is replaced with an original, newer unit just because an updated unit was available as well. You get the picture, this car is cared for like only few BMWs out there.
The headlights are in great, clear condition just like the paint since the car has been garaged for most it's life.

The valve cover gasket, radiator, cooling hoses, belts, water pump, wires, spark plugs and other known maintenance items on the 3 liter inline 6 engines have been replaced within the last two years.
The front suspension thrust arms were replaced with original Lemforder parts from Germany 3 months ago (with alignment of course) along with new original side markers (they were starting to get faded) and engine air filter, charcoal cabin air filter ($120). At the same time the brake fluid was changed and I got new center caps for the wheels since they started to show age.
I also got a $560 original key from the dealer (ridiculously expensive these modern keys, but the car comes with two keys now) and it's totally worth it with the convenient keyless entry and push button start you never have to take the key out of your pocket. The doors open when you put your hand in the door handle.
The oil is always changed with German Liqui Moly oil, low friction additive and an original oil filter. Every 2,000 miles I tread the car with a Liqui Moly injector cleaner additive.
I have two additional BMW air filters, extra original water pump ($540), an oil filter, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket and some other original parts that come with the car.

The brakes are high performance Zimmermann brake discs with Akebono pads (original parts supplier for Porsche) and they do not show brake dust for months. The brakes were changed 6 months ago. I put brand new Continental DWS tires on the car 3,000 miles ago so no need to change brakes or tires for a long time.

The car has no rust and the paint is in great shape since it has been garaged since new.
I recently relocated to CA, hence the SC tags, but the car is the N51 SULEV engine which is 50 state legal and I have the smog certificate done a few days ago so the car is good to go in CA.
