Vehicle Description
137k miles and running great. 6 speed manual with sport mode.
Only reason for selling is I needed an economical car for work, but ended up working from home and no longer have a need for it.
This is an awesome quirky little car, very different from any other car on the road. 3 doors! (one suicide door behind the passenger door)
Fully Loaded --- Heated everything, two moon roofs, etc. all options.
When I bought the car it had a misfire due to a PCV valve (which I found out after already replacing a bunch of parts.)
The car has a brand new turbo, valve cover, calve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, thermostat, and I also ported out the exhaust ports to allow more airflow. - 30 miles on all of these additions - now the car is in perfect mechanical shape.
The car is completely stock, and the paint is nearly perfect. Leather/Vinyl. Interior is in near perfect shape as well, only slight wear on the leg bolster of the driver seat, not very noticeable. (Will update with interior pictures soon)
I average around 35-40mpg.
Aftermarket wheels, very slight curbing. Tires are almost new!
Looking to get 5000 but am open to offers and trades.
Only issue is there is still a check engine light for the thermostat (I believe this needs to be reset at a dealership or Mini/BMW tech.) I have another car as well, this one sits and will continue to sit in a heated garage.
I have a binder full of receipts and paperwork for the car from the previous owner (I have done everything else myself)
Clean title in hand with bill of sale, I hadn't gotten around to registering it due to working at home so it wouldn't make sense for me to pay the taxes on the car. If this is a deal breaker for someone, I can get it registered in my name and it won't be an issue.
