Vehicle Description
We bought this X5 from Bobby Rahal certified preowned. Clean title in hand.
The car is in fair shape with some minor wear and tear and minor body scrapes.
The good:
All features work as they should (eg heat, ac, windows etc)
Newer Tires
Newer brakes
Inspected until 2/28/21
The bad:
Car is not charging properly and this is causing a reduced power mode.
We replaced the battery, alternator and serpentine belt. Apparently the AC compressor is heating up too much and may be causing drag on the serpentine belt which may cause the system not to charge properly.
We love the car but we could not get a firm diagnosis so we decided to buy another X5.
Priced at bottom of KKB "fair" market value with "issues" in mind.
No low ball offers or trades. This is a solid car and can be a good by for someone who can resolve its issues.
