Bed:
The Bed has a durable plastic bed liner and the cap over the bed is metal, it keeps out rain, and is lockable on all three sides. I installed a wood 2x8 in the bed where I kept some tools behind.
Vehicle Damages/History
I will be completely honest with the vehicles history and damages:
I have had few problems with it. No problems ever with the engine or transmission. The largest repair being a new neutral safety switch installed which cost only $300.
In terms of appearance, besides a few minor scratches, there is a slight crack in the fender just below the driver side headlight from a fender bender I got in two years ago (see image). Besides that, there was another fender bender a couple years ago with no damage to this vehicle (it was under 5 mph). The vehicle has been in no other accidents.
This is truly a great vehicle, Ford has not let me down, and I was so impressed with the Ranger and its retention of value I just purchased a 2019 Ranger. I own this vehicle in full, I have the Title.
