Also, a "serious" buyer will take the time to come on out and look the van over before discussing a lower offer. Then you can tell me why I should come down in price, face-to-face. I'm reasonable within a respectable negotiation/barter, I don't need the money for crack, meth, or booze, hence, I'm NOT giving it away. (If you're still uncertain of what I'm trying to say here, review the above note.)
Now then...
I’ve had this Transit Connect for 3 years now and it runs great. The first week I had it, drove down to, Nashville TN, then onto Panama City Beach FL for a filming gig only to drive straight up to Michigan’s UP and the Soo Locks immediately following. Drove wonderfully and without incident. It’s been very good to me still averaging around 21 to 22 mpg with regular oil & filter changes. (It's parked, I'm not putting anymore miles on it.)
151,944 miles, a new muffler last year, blasting out very cold air in the summer and hot in the winter, never having any issues. Everything works as it should, cruise control, power steering, brakes, windows and locks, am/fm/cd player, with the exception of, the radio antenna could use a replacement, it works, just a little more static than I'd prefer, and the passenger side slider door lock won’t work from the key fob. (The lock works fine by hand and I’ve seen the antennas on Amazon going from $14 to $25.)
It’s got a few cosmetic areas on the lower body, as seen in the photos, that could use tending to, I bought the van in this condition, and it will need new tires soon. (If I take care of these things I’m not selling it.)
The interior is clean, cluttered, but I’ll take care of this before purchase. This has NOT been a “tool van,” or van of the trades; painters, roofers, HVAC, lawn & garden, mechanics, etc., etc.,
I removed the seats as soon as I bough it, making room for my production gear and installed a wooden floor with carpeting which can easily be removed. (I still have the seats.)
I’m ONLY selling because my small business had been shut down once again by her highness and this pandemic.
I’m asking what I think is a fair price, below the Blue Book Value, of $5,250.00, but all serious “OBO's” will be considered. Meaning, I’ll listen to an “in-person” offer of why I should come down in price, but I’m not giving it away. (Make me an offer I can't refuse.)
This will make a GREAT starter, small business van for those on a lower budget or just starting out.
