I'll be glad to answer questions about things I may have missed below.
Clean Title
Averages 45 Miles Per Gallon for me currently.
But city driving is around 50 Miles Per Gallon.
Very inexpensive car to own, as long as you pay attention to the little maintenance it needs, as with any car.
Leather interior in decent shape, light cracking found in back seat area.
Rear seats fold flat and rear cargo area has a surprising amount of room.
Recent Maintenance:
Oil change
Toyota Transmission Fluid
Toyota Coolant for Inverter and Normal cooling system.
Rear Brakes
EGR cleaned
New Windshield
LED headlights
Around 260k miles on the body and transmission.
Engine has less than 200k miles, replaced after headgasket failure on original engine due to clogged EGR system. It was sold to me with a leaking headgasket and I was not aware. Its recommended on these cars to clean the EGR system once a year.
Hybrid battery is in decent shape, I paid someone to rebuild it a couple years ago. But it does from time to time act up and require a simple reset of the hybrid battery computer. Easily done with a smart phone application and OBD connector that I can include with the car. From what I can tell, the battery needs to be either properly balanced or have a couple of cells replaced. Out of the 28 cells, 2-3 of them seem to be out of balance with the others. If I find time, I'll be replacing these problematic cells. Or if someone who knows Prius's would like to, it's a fairly simple job with many videos out there showing exactly how to do it.
If you drive in a spirited fashion, as I do, it's normal to have to add about a quart of oil between oil changes. Normal slow and steady driving and it's not really an issue.
