Used 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4WD for sale in Palm Springs, CA
Vehicle Description
Parting ways with my 2011 Taco. Switching to a campervan setup since I haven’t been doing as much off-road camping as I thought I would in the 4 years I’ve owned it. I bought the truck with almost 140k mostly highway miles. I’ve put an additional 50k on it mostly commuting and the occasional road trip towing a small travel trailer. Truck has had regular oil changes and had a full transmission fluid flush shortly after purchase. The rear leaf springs were also replaced under a recall at the same time as the transmission flush. Truck has various scuffs and minor dings but is overall in good shape with no accidents. Some paint on the passenger door is peeling near the back of the window but it’s been that way since I bought it and hasn’t gotten worse. Below is a list of upgrades I’ve done over the years.
* Installed a leveling kit in the front suspension
* Installed Firestone Ride-Rite Airbag kit on rear suspension
* Replaced all 4 shocks with new Bilstiens
* Installed an Insight trailer brake controller kit (truck has factory tow package)
* Installed Bakflip G2 tonneau cover kit and locking tailgate handle
* Installed LED bed light kit
* Installed secondary backup camera to aid in lining up with trailer (and wiring can also hook to backup camera on trailer if available)
* Installed Sony double DIN stereo head unit
* Had driveshaft rebuilt and balanced (addressed vibration issue from leveling kit)
* Removed aftermarket wheels installed by previous owner and installed 2016 Tacoma wheels (new Cooper Discovery tires installed 1 year ago).
* Removed useless jumpseats in back and built custom shelf behind front seats to hide your stuff and allow dogs to co-pilot with you (original seats will come with truck and I can reinstall if requested)
* Replaced air intake and cabin air filters
* Added Husky brand rubber floor mats
* Replaced torn driver seat bottom cover
* Installed Kenwood under-seat subwoofer with controller routed to center console storage
* Sanded and clear coated factory headlights (eliminated hazy yellowing and has held up for two years)
