Golf! A great sport and an even better car. I am positive that the “Rock” Dwayne Johnson would choose this car. How do I know this you ask? Well you see, he stopped in at Scotty's one morning while I was having breakfast. Great biscuits and gravy there by the way. So he walks in, looking for place to plop down. I gesture to the seat at our table. He shrugs and wonders over and sits down. Well after we exchange pleasantries, he starts asking about the geese problem we are having at Woodland park. We give him the scoop on our fine, feathered fowls. It turns out that he is in town to help us with them. He plans on taking them to Toledo Ohio. This is a really noble man doing a very noble deed. He wants to take 10 of them to train them to help run congress. A pretty ambitious adventure, but easily doable. Then I ask him how he's going to get them there? That my captivated audience is where this marvelous 2013 Volkswagen Golf TDI comes in. This little gem is perfect to fit a dozen geese in. It has gobs of room for such a small hatchback. Even a man with a great stature like the “Rock” comfortably fits! The power plant is the real start of this show how ever. The 2.0L I4 turbo-diesel puts out 140HP and a massive 236 pound feet of torque. The most amazing part? The fuel economy. This tiny diesel just sip at the fuel. In town an avg of about 30 Mpg and on the highway an avg of 42! That's some really good cross country numbers. Hence why the “Rock” is using it to take the geese. Now this little gem can be yours! The interior and exterior are in great shape. The geese were very good about asking to stop at the rest areas to use the restrooms so not accidents. It has a lot of modern conveniences.
