Rare diesel Golf 6speed manual.
Achieves 45+MPG without driving slowly and still plenty of passing power. Up to 50+ mpg. Same diesel 2.0L as the Jetta and Passat however more fun in the lightweight Golf being the same chassis as the GTI. Stick shift 6speed is very low maintenance vs auto and a bit taller gearing too for MPG on the highway. I've had a few diesels from 30-300k. This one drives like a new car. No suspension squeaks or crusty undercarriage. All the windows and doors work fine. Cold AC, hot heat. Just got oil, fuel filter, GL4 gear oil, cabin filter, Clutch, master and Slave cylinder replaced.
