Used 2016 FORD ESCAPE All wheel drive for sale in Sharpsburg, OH
Vehicle Description
This escape is very nice inside and out! Everything works and there are no problems. I bought it wrecked and the only damage was the left front fender. I replaced it and painted it back to original and it all looks great. When it was wrecked, whatever they ran into and over, not only damaged the fender but it scraped the underside of the transmission. It didn't break the case, but where the case bolts together it was moist with fluid. I drained the fluid, wire wheeled the whole underside of the tranny, and painted it with some super-sealer($120.00 a gallon). The next day I put the new fluid in and doesn't get wet any more. A day later I gave it another coat. It now has a rebuilt title. I would normally ask trade-in price for this vehicle, which is $11500.00. That would be a good deal, however, since it had the transmission issue, I found a low mileage used transmission for 1500 and lee miles will install it for 500. I will therefore take $2500 off the trade-in price, so in the unlikely event that it should ever be a problem, the car is still a great bargain.
