Vehicle Description
This is a Smart Car - Pure For Two model. It has 51,000 miles on it and has been professionally serviced at the Mercedes Benz dealership of Somerville every 10,000 miles. Smart cars are owned by Mercedes Benz although they don't make them in the U.S. anymore. Regular mechanics know how to work on them and technically you could go to a place like Valvoline for oil changes. You only need to change the oil every 10,000 miles. It is not electric - takes a minimum of 91 unleaded gas. It averages about 36 miles per gallon on the highway.
I am a non-smoker and this car is in excellent condition. I paid $17,000 for it and am looking for about $7000 or best offer. It has had only one owner, smells and looks good. The best part is the parking. I can't tell you how many times I've gone places and technically there were no parking spots left - but this car is able to fit just about anywhere.
The trunk is more spacious than most assume - two suitcases or five bags of groceries can fit back there. The two seats in front are also more comfortable and spacious than you would think. The engine is in the back which actually helps to weigh the car down. This is my third Smart Car - I've been driving them since 2011 in the Boston area. I have driven in snow and it's no worse than any other economy type car.
