Standard feature highlights for the SE trim include leather upholstery, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, keyless remote entry, power front seats, 60/40-split folding rear seats, a rearview camera, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen interface and a six-speaker sound system. The SE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, paddle shifters, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The 2017 Camry comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (178 horsepower, 170 pound-feet of torque) that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels.
Every 2017 Toyota Camry comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front and rear side airbags, front knee airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and a rearview camera. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Camry its best possible rating of "Good" in its moderate-overlap and small-overlap frontal-offset impact tests. The Camry also earned a "Good" score in the side-impact, roof-strength and head restraint/seatbelts (whiplash protection) tests.
