Vehicle Description

63 VW bug, pretty much everything original as far as I can tell, runs fine. Brakes, clutch, everthing mechanical works as a daily driver. I bought this from the family of a collector who had it for 47 years, I was told. Very fun to drive. HOWEVER, I have come to the conclusion that despite it being very fun and having people stop me every day to ask me what year model it is and regale me with tales of their old Volkswagen beetle or superbeetle, I am not willing to take the risk of driving it, as it has absolutely no safety features, including seat belts. So, with great regret, I am selling this car, and keeping my 1980's Volvo instead. The attached photo shows what led me to this decision. The driver's side front tire blew out, and it felt as though I was in an earthquake. If I had been going much faster, the car probably would have blown up and/or I would have been killed. I am selling this as is, meaning that if you buy it and the car konks out the next day, or you get a tire blowout and the car ends up in flames, that is your problem, not mine. Just want to be clear on that. $6,500 or best offer ASAP, meaning in the next couple of days. To say that the price is negotiable would be an understatement. Also, the turn signal lights don't work right now, so you'll have to use hand signals unless that gets fixed in the next day or so. If you have to ask what hand signals are, this is probably not the right car for you.
