Vehicle Description

1965 Shelby Cobra Factory 5 replica. This car is CA registered as SPCNS, meaning it's smog exempt. Non-donor build in 2005. Built with all new parts. This car has a Ford Racing 460 cu. in. crate engine that was rated at 550 hp. To be honest, I had to replace the origial intake manifold for clearance issues. This resulted in a loss of hp. But still has 421 RWHP and tons of torque. It has a 850 cfm Holley double pumper. The trans is a Tremec TKO 500 5 speed. The rear end is a fully independent suspension with a 8.8 in. Traction Loc and 3.73 gears. 22 gal. FuelSafe fuel cell with electric fuel pump. Car equipped with Cobra manual disc brakes, 13" front and 10.5" rear. Rack and pinion manual steering. Electric dual fan radiator that keeps the water temp right, even in 100 deg.weather. Electronic ignition. Coil over shocks on all corners. Almost new Optima battery. Has beautiful 2005 Mustang Redfire Pearl Metallic paint, but of course are nicks here and there due to driving. 17" Halibrand Cobra III wheels and 275R40 tires.
