Used 84 Mazda B2000 Minitruck - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... for sale in Bigfork, MT

Vehicle Description

Engine is good. Rusty wheel wells. Ancient tires on it but they don't leak. Rusty fuel tank replaced this summer. No tailpipe or muffler. The brakes could use a tune up. Much needs to be done to get this vehicle running smoothly and safely as a commuter. More of a project vehicle for mechanically inclined people. Although it drove me to work a few times earlier this year it currently has issues with the fuel pump not getting fuel to the carburetor. The fuel pump is sound. I can operate it and fill the carburetor by playing with the regulator fuse while the ignition key is in the start position. The likely culprit is a faulty fuel pump regulator. According to some Google searches that's what I suspect. I know where it's supposed to be at but haven't had luck identifying it due to the confusing mass of wires under the dash. When I have more time, I'll probably find it and possibly fix it. Would sell as is. Until that gets sorted out this vehicle will not run safely on the highway but you're welcome to check it out, listen to it idle or drive it a little around the property. If you're mechanically wise there is some talk on the internet of bypassing the relay with a toggle switch between the battery and the fuel pump. I'm asking $1,150 OBO.
