Vehicle Description
The car starts, drives and stops well. Mechanically, the motor sounds and runs great for a car with 200K+ miles. The top is in good shape, as is the body. There are some extra goodies and parts in the trunk, including some lights and two boots to cover the top when it's down, one black and one white. Asking $3500 and open to serious offers.
Here are the quirks: The handles are a little delicate and the driver door handle requires a gentle touch. There are splits in the original leather (pictured), and we're including new seat covers. The front right CV joint is clicking during hard turns, eventually this will need to be replaced. It's a few hundred bucks at a shop. When the engine is hot it can be a bit clunky to shift into first gear. The passenger side window button can stick sometimes.
You can test drive with me in the car if you know how to drive a stick and you bring cash to show you're serious about buying. I like this car and would like it to find a home where it will be loved, maintained and appreciated.
