Vehicle Description
Does have transmission issues. Occasionally will go into "limp home mode" where it will not upshift. Found this happens when I put into drive or reverse and give it gas right away instead of giving it a second to shift into gear.
Transmission Control Module is dry.
-Air Conditioning is not working, I never diagnosed the issue
-Headliner fell down, leaving behind an orange colored ceiling. Other than this, interior and leather seats are in pretty good condition
-Front windshield cracked but not in line of sight
-Body rust, mostly on the doors
-Radio says "wait". I got the radio code from the dealer, needs to be reset
Would be a great mechanics special or a cheap reliable car for going around town. Do not recommend highway driving with current state of transmission. From what I have read this limp home mode is pretty common for MB's of this model.
