In 1953 a father in southern Iowa made this cool looking sprint car go cart for his son after reading a Popular Mechanic’s magazine article. The car has a metal frame, aluminum body, steering sector from a Model T Ford and hand painted graphics on the seat. It’s been sitting for years, never touched and all original from that day in 1953 when this little boy’s go cart was the talk of the town. It’s around 4 1/2 feet wide and 6 1/2 feet long. It does not run but the engine turns over freely. Price is $950 or best offer.
