Vehicle Description
I have decided to test the waters on selling my BJ74. I love love love it but we are moving to a cold weather climate and while the old diesel is doing a great job, I realize that it's going to have a hard time during the winter months and it might be wise of me to consider selling. The truck is currently located in Colorado, but with deposit, I can drive it back to LA in the end of December. We will officially relocate to Colorado in December, and if the truck is not sold by then, I will keep it and figure out how to make it happy during the winter months.
It is a 1987 BJ74 with an H55F manual 5 speed, PTO and cable lockers, the best of the best. It has a newer OME 2" lift and lives on 33" Falken ATs. It's had a TON of maintenance work done and did the drive to Colorado without breaking a sweat. Work includes new clutch master rebuilt, new brake lines, new tie rod ends, new AC compressor and condenser, Euro spec roll bar with rear seat belts, a ripping stereo run off of a well orchestrated 12v step down converter and 12v electrical subsystem. It's had a little interior work done, interior sound deadening, body work and has a new customized Front Runner roof rack installed. It is not a perfect truck, but is ready to be daily driven (I daily drive now). Future plans for it were to run 35s and have it Rubicon ready, so included in the sale are new in box Nitro 30 spline front axle shafts, rear shafts and knuckle rebuild kit as well as a Sumo 3:1 gear set for the T case. Also includes new rear window and door seals.
Will include in a James Baroud hardshell tent and mount kit for an additional $3k.

Has about 130k miles on it and is ready to do another 200k more. I will not sell any of the components separately, and will be included in the sale. Price is firm. I'm happy to do a Zoom or FaceTime walk around and show you all of the ins and outs, but the truck will not be available to test drive. I will only drive it back with a full deposit.
Oh yeah, it has Cali plates and title. I was not expecting to move, so I did all of the legwork to get it registered in Cali, it's registered as a diesel, no smog required.
