this car has the common e65 issues... all of which are well documented ... youtube has several videos
on how to fix these issues ... one good weekend is all it needs.
please note... you should not attempt to purchase this car unless you or someone you know can work on it...
strong engine with NO check light on ... i have service records.. around 2k of work was done to it within the last 2 years... including front suspension
needs guibo aka flex disk and center support bearing... a common issue for BMW... should be done around 100k
around $150 in parts .... 3-5 hours of labor.. can be done by an average diy guy..
already started the job so most of the the heat shields are removed..
please note the car will not switch into drive or reverse because of this issue...
will need a tow which i can accommodate ..
other than that it fires right up has been sitting on a trickle charger for around a month.
water pump and valve cover gaskets will need to be done soon... around $100 in parts... thermostat is already replaced as well as much of the front suspension .. car drives like new...
normally i wouldn't sell this car ..
but i just picked up a 750li with the same issue ..
and i don't have space for both cars...
