Used C5 Corvette Track Toy for sale in Parrish, FL

For sale: 1999 C5 “I wanna be a racecar driver when I grow up” edition. Started as a 99 FRC Z51, but just about everything mechanical on the car has been replaced within the last few years. From the engine, to the suspension, interior, etc. Just about every important part on the car has been swapped out with new/upgraded parts. I didn't modify it for any specific class or event, just focused on the weak points of the car and general improvements for a track toy. About $50k invested and the end result is a laser sharp car that is well balanced and easy to drive fast, without going full race car. It still has an interior and A/C. The head unit died and was replaced with a carbon fiber panel (figured I could mount gauges or switches there some day), but the speakers and wires are still present if you want a radio (I doubt you could hear it anyway…) Though the suspension is stiff, it is not so stiff that you can’t drive it. It is street legal and gets decent gas mileage. Complimentary jean shorts and New Balance included with sale.

Engine and drivetrain:
-LS3 swap (made 440hp/404tq to the wheels)

-Factory head unit deleted and replaced with CF panel (speakers and wire still present if you want radio, but I never did)

The bad: The car has a weird history. It was a manufacturer buy back due to electrical issue which was fixed. The car has a lot of owners and the chassis has a lot of miles. Exact miles unknown because the previous owner installed a newer Z06 cluster. It has been very solid and ran great at recent HPDEs. The exterior is far from perfect with plenty of imperfections for a car of its age and being used for track duty.

Otherwise the car runs great and is very fast. If you’re looking for a C5 that is considerably faster than stock with a lot of great parts, and ready for immediate track use, this is a great choice. If you’re looking to build the car even further, it would be a great candidate vs starting with a lower mileage C5 or C6. If you want a car to join your buddies at the local AARP cruise ins, this is not the car for you, Grandpa!
