Used Camaro Z28!! for sale in Saint George, UT
Vehicle Description
I purchased this on June 15, 2012. At that time it only had 24K miles on it. The paint was black and faded, and it had the original black and grey cloth interior. I decided to make it the nicest Z28 around. I did the following upgrades over the course of my ownership.
Non-mechanical
-$3,000: New custom paint job: color is "Lexus black with blue metal flake", makes it look like its blue in the day and black at night, and those stripes are painted on, not stickers.
-$4,000: Custom luxury leather interior by Stitch craft upholstery: All Leather is BMW luxury grade, and it is a real leather interior, no vinyl anywhere in the car, not even on the back of the seats. This is all top quality leather all the way around (oh yeah buddy!).
-$1,000: audio upgrade: removed stock 6 disc changer and put in a blue tooth head unit, and replaced all the speakers, and added a sub-woofer
-$1,000: BF Goodrich G-force all season tires all the way around
-$500: White face gauges with L.E.D. upgrade
Mechanical:
- $300: K&N cold air intake
-$350: upgraded the throttle body for more air flow to the 5.7L V8
-$500: new Edelbrock exhaust manifolds (tubular header's)
-$1,000: new Hooker exhaust all the way out the back, catalytic converters were deleted which increased power and fuel economy. Fuel economy: the best I’ve ever gotten was 31 mpg on the freeway, and I average around 19 mpg in town.
-$3000: I did the 100K mile service at 65K miles so it has new gaskets, plugs, wires, clutch, transmission service, rear diff service, and fixed the rear main seal that was leaking.
-$300: New rear shocks
-$100: I did put in a strut tower brace which isn't mechanical but it does help the handling.
I'll do the math for you... that's $15,050 in upgrades!!!
Upgrades added 50 hp so instead of 275 hp at the crank its 325 hp which is what this engine was designed for when they put it in the Corvette in 1992,
I want it to go to a good home, where someone will love it as much as i have and enjoy it as much as I have. I drive it a couple of times a week so mileage will change
NADA values it in the $13,000's, and I've decided to lower my price to $8,995 so that it will sell fast and won't have time to change my mind!
