The actual details:
This truck smokes like your mother's sister!!! It is probably a blown head gasket, but I do not know nor do I care.
The engine is from a slightly newer Impala and has "supposedly been bored over".
It has rust, it needs this part and that part, the bed is not attached, etc.
It has been parked for 3 years, since it started smoking. (I bought a newer larger truck for my farm after and just didn't care enough to fix this one)
It was an Game Warden truck and then was on a horse farm, I bought it from the horse farm.
The Front Dif does not engage and the passenger side CV Axel needs to be replaced or re-cliped in the Dif.
The power steering pump is not working, but was replaced a month before it was parked, so who knows.
The Important Stuff:
It has a clear title. (how could someone actually owe money on this POS)
It has never been wrecked, or rolled over.
I had the transmission (700R4) rebuilt by a very reputable shop right before it started smoking 3 years ago and I parked it. (Yes I know that "bla bla bla" that doesn't matter, but... it actually does matter) I paid $1200 dollars and I have full confidence that the transmission is the most reliable part of this truck. That alone is worth half of my asking price.
I have the bed, and some other new parts included :)
