Vehicle Description
Foundational/structural:
Behind the beauty of the woodwork there are sturdy studs fastened directly to the structural components of the van itself. You will never have to worry about falling cabinets as these studs are STUDS. The walls are lined with wool from Havelock Wool and some spots of 1” rigid foam board. The beauty of wool is that it conforms to the curvature of the van, is naturally antimicrobial, and helps to mitigate moisture that could condense on the metal of the inside of the van. It also has a high R-value to help trap heat or cool air.
The rear seat is from a Ford Transit but it has been fastened to the floor of the van and reinforced with thick steel plates and massive nuts and bolts.
Both front seats swivel so when you are trapped in the van from bad weather you can have your family dinners facing one another!
The rear of the van has a ladder so you can access the roof whenever you need.
Electrical:
This van has a beefed up electrical system to support offgrid living. Here is a list of all of the components:

The kitchen:
The countertop is a beautiful centerpiece. Made from 5 different hardwoods and sealed in epoxy giving this van a glistening natural look for a lifetime. The sink is ceramic 19”x15” which allows for enough space to clean dishes easily. Under the counter is plenty of storage for kitchen hardware, as well it stores the 12 gallon fresh water tank and a 6 gallon grey water tank. Its a simple water system that you will need to pay attention to when it is time to be emptied.
