1938 FORD DELUXE 81A CONVERTIBLE Listing: This 1938 Ford Deluxe, 81A 4 door convertible is a very rare car, only 2,743 were produced. The engine is the original V8 Flat head rated at 85 horsepower@ 3,800 RPM. This car has 94,440 miles and a manual transmission. This car has a new Griffin radiator with electric fan. This vehicle has been converted to 12 volt system with new battery, new alternator, new tires, new Mallory distributor and coil. Owner still has the original radiator and generator. This engine cranks the second you push the start button and purrs like a kitten. This car comes with fender skirts that need painting. The top has some wear. This car came with a lot of options: fender skirts, bumper guards, radio, clock, glove box, cigar lighter, side mirrors, dual wipers, dual tail lights, amber fog lights, locking gas cap, glove box lock, wheel trim bands, deluxe hub caps, White side wall tires, deluxe steering wheel and license plate frame. This car comes with a clear title. The front tag is an original rare New York 1938 Worlds fair tag. This car comes with a display sign and stand for car shows that details this car.
