This Corvette Sting Ray not only introduced a brand new design for 1963, but it has become one of the more desired years for collectors. With the new design replacing the C1 corvette, its handling was much better, and the Sting Ray was a lighter Corvette in '63 than previous years, so acceleration improved despite unchanged horsepower.
This '63 Corvette comes equipped with a nicely rebuilt era correct, 327 Cubic inch V8, matched with the easy to drive smooth shifting Power-glide automatic transmission. This '63 Vette is painted in a bright white, with a white convertible top and complimented with the great contrasting red interior.
All the original design elements are still there, from the chrome vents in the hood to the ribbed rocker panels. You couldn't ask for a nicer collector car for a Corvette. Everything works like it should. Its been well maintained and is a real strong runner. This car has had a few of the modern must have upgrades added that include, Vintage A/C and heat, power steering, and a aluminum radiator for all day summer driving. This is a great drivers car and with some work it can be a NCRS Top Flight competitor car.
