Vehicle Description
This car had been bought in Texas from the original owner then brought to Ohio around 2006-2007. The guy I bought it from had disassembled it, then life got in his way and it sat in his barn for 10 years. I basically bought a body on a cart and a truck load of boxes full of parts. Fixing up these old cars is a passion of mine so I completely rebuilt the car putting in a 2001 6.0L vortec LS1 engine, 4L60E transmission, Curry 9 inch. with 3:71 gears, Foose Nitrous wheels, House of Kolor Apple Red Kandy basecoat over a black base with magenta pearl in the clear coat. Renowned pinstripe artist Shane Syx put down some very subtle pinstripes, you only see them in certain light. The trunk has been covered in black carpet with custom panels and lettering. It also features Chevy emblem shaped trunk lighting. It has 4 wheel disc brakes, tinted glass, Vintage air A/C system, intermittent wipers and a custom console combining the factory console with a arm rest and cup holders. The interior is mostly stock and along with the custom console it has Chevy emblem shaped speaker grills and a B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter with a custom gear indicator. All interior and exterior lighting works as it should as does everything else on the car. This car can roll down the highway with the AC on and is cool and comfortable inside. Even with the rumble of the engine the interior is quiet enough to have conversation without yelling. Probably 90% of this car ( including nuts and bolts!) is BRAND NEW! It has just over 400 miles on it since the rotisserie restoration and I will change the oil and transmission fluid ( the rear end oil was changed after break-in ) before it leaves. I have taken this car to a couple of local cruise-ins and it always draws a crowd.
