You are looking a great running, driving (Ford) M-151 Military Utility Tactical Truck. MUTT is what the soldiers referred to them as. This unit passed inspection 11-67 with a star stamped into serial number plate. You will notice the sideways grill. Older M38 all were vertical . Ford built these for Military and wanted to be different from a glance. This Vehicle is FASTER , BETTER HANDLING , BETTER RIDE , wider, longer, lower roomier, turns like power steering . M-151 has a unibody structure to garner more ground clearance and handling. 4 wheel independent suspension, 4x4 or 2x4, not constantly binding like old M-38 Jeeps. This M-151 will cruise down hwy all day long. Still has the axe, shovel, gas can , spare tire, jack , tool kit included. We have a reg ball trailer hitch included , pintle hook attached now. Odometer shows 18k. I'm thinking that might be first time around. Truck is not wore out or rotten either. Truck has never been restored just in decent usable shape. I'm gonna drain gas n pour in some premium no ethanol , current gas runs but smells like burning varnish! Military rigs will run on any fuel!hehe Truck has 5 brand new Military straight bar tires . We will get dust washed off MUTT tmro and post a few pics.
