The 1970 El Camino has the wide quad headlight front end that's a true classic/muscle car legend. And since a good El Camino gives us the same powerful vibes as the Chevelle, it's great to have the right aggressive elements added here, too. This includes the cowl hood, hood pins, Super Sport badging, and slotted mag wheels with extra meaty rear rubber. Plus, the silver paint sets a nice tone for the whole vehicle. It was an upgrade later in life, and so it still knows how to radiate in the sunlight. And the silver is also a perfect backdrop for the blackout pieces such as SS grille, tailgate, and the premium vinyl top.
The black accents of the exterior are also a preview of the full black interior. This is a well upgraded package with added comfort from the upgraded bench seat w/fold-down armrest. There's upscale wood paneling, a courtesy light, and an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo w/CD changer. Classic fans will also to spot the factory A/C panel (it will need servicing and components to restore the function.) More than just comfort, this has a driver-friendly style with the NK4 sports steering wheel and a round gauge package w/large speedo and tach. There are even some helpful auxiliary readouts under the dash for vacuum, temp, and oil pressure.
Under the hood is proper Chevy small block power. This 350 cubic-inch V8 was upgraded with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. The result is a strong-running motor with an extra kick of power. And nothing beats the V8 tune from the dual exhaust. This classic El Camino was built to be a driver, and so you have easy cruising features, like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front discs.
