Being offered is one of the nicest 1974 Volkswagen Bugs we have seen, this vehicle received a complete pan off restoration with approximately 5,000 miles on it, it is extremely nice, no corners were cut. We recently drove this vehicle 170 miles without any issues. Every detail on this car has been taken care of, it is ready to get in and go and have the nicest and sharpest bug in town. The paint on the car is excellent and is on a laser straight body. This vehicle is equipped with a rebuilt dual port 1641 CC motor that runs like a sewing machine. This is a car you can get in and go, be comfortable, and it starts, runs, drives and stops without issue. This Beetle gets attention everywhere it goes and will make someone an awesome cruiser. Exterior Highlights:
The exterior of the bug is extremely sharp with high gloss blue pearl paint and very sharp chrome 8 spoke American Eagle wheels that give the car a crisp clean appearance. Every detail on the exterior of the car is excellent, the trim and chrome on the car are like new. The lights on the vehicle are very bright and crack free. The Vehicle has a very sporty look. The running boards, like the rest of the vehicle are excellent. As the pictures show this Bug is very sharp and really draws a crowd everywhere it goes. Interior Highlights:
The interior of this bug is stunning to say the least. The attention to detail is amazing. The bug has excellent black vinyl bucket seats, with matching rear bench. The interior was redone with TMI seat pads, seat covers, and door panels. The dash is color keyed to the car and is excellent yet simple. The carpet, door panels, headliner, and all interior trim are very nice. This bug is equipped with a very nice Sony AM/FM stereo with great sounding speakers. This vehicle has a vintage feel and is an awesome cruiser. The vehicle has a very sharp steering wheel with functioning horn. The windows on the vehicle are crystal clear and are functionally excellent. The trunk of the car, which is many times overlooked, is just as nice as the rest of the car as can be seen in the pictures, you will be hard pressed to find a vintage beetle as nice as this one. Take a look at the photos in detail, there is nothing overlooked on this car.
Mechanical Highlights:
Mechanically this vehicle is equipped with a dual port 1641cc motor that was rebuilt with 87mm pistons and a petronix electronic ignition and coil. This bug starts, runs, drives, and stops without issue. The bug has a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly, the transmission was also gone through with new throw out bearings and seals. The vehicle has dual exhaust with stainless tips coming out the rear that add to the sporty look. Mechanically this car was gone through completely, including emergency brake, the struts were completely gone through including polyurethane bushings, all engine components were updated, everything. The undercarriage of the car is excellent. The vehicle has new heater cables, and new heater channels, this vehicle has excellent heat. This VW is effortless to drive and will put a smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel.
The odometer on the bug reads 66,168 miles at the time of this listing, the title reads non-actual.
