The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is at the heart of the FRC's appeal. This is a 345 hp fuel-injected powerhouse that was built for performance-mined machines like this. You'll even see that this one has an upgraded air intake for better breathing. These cars were so hardcore, that the FRCs were only available with the Borg-Warner T-56 six-speed manual transmission and Z51 performance handling package, which were optional on other C5 models. Add that to four-wheel disc brakes and grippy Continental ZR-rated tires, and this is a recipe for a great weekend.
