This 2001 Corvette Convertible, 5.7 Liter SFI, V8, 350 HP, 4-SPD AUTO Trans. W/overdrive has good looks at a reasonable price. In fact, the fifth generation Corvette was a totally re-engineer sports car that set the trend all the way to the current eighth generation Corvette. For the C5 the transmission was moved back to the differential there by balancing the weight evenly front to rear. This change made the car fun to drive especially in the curves.
That change also improved Corvette Racing. In fact, Corvette Racing’s C5-Rs earned 31 class victories in the American Le Mans Series, three class wins at the 24 hours of Le Mans, and one overall victory at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
