Used Ford E150 High Top Campervan for sale in Long Beach, CA

No, it's not the sexiest van out there, but it was well thought-out, and has been one helluva fun van for us. The engine runs extremely well, and has had a fresh tune-up by our local shop where the plugs/wires/coils were replaced recently.

The Big Stuff:

2002 E150 2WD with the taller roof and windows - 148k Miles
Maxxair fan
200w Solar, with 100ah battery and Victron solar controller.
SnoMaster TR42 Fridge that works perfectly.
Custom-made mattress, that is insanely comfy and super high-quality materials.
New-ish front seats.
Convertible bed that can flip up into a couch from both the front and rear, depending on which view you want.
All Electrical was done with marine-grade wire. That stuff that costs like a million dollars at West Marine.

The Little Stuff:

Well-placed USB ports for phone charging, and an inverter hidden on the side for your laptop or monitor to be powered.
Hand-made table on a Lagun Adjustable table mount. This thing is truly amazing. You can pivot the table to all sorts of spots. It's great for food prep, but also when you want to lean back and do some work on your computer, you can just pull it right up to you regardless of if you are a leg-folder or stretcher-outer or half-and-half. (I see you, person who folds one leg up and stretches the other leg out.)

With the exception of the big-ass drawer that comes out the rear, we built it to not have anything that would rattle or break. So there are no other drawers or slides or cabinets. This might not be your jam, to have visible ktichen stuff and whatever, but we really liked not having to worry about things that might be an issue down the road.
Flip-down tables off the rear doors.

Lighting that toggles from White to Orange, and are on dimmers. This is super nice at night to be able to tone down the lights, as well as saving the battery a bit.
Two - 5gallon tanks for freshwater, that are fed to the faucet through a foot pump. (Again, we didn't want another thing to break some day, so we went this route instead of an electric water pump.)
One - 5gallon greywater tank. (When you run out of the first freshwater tank, you know it's time to dump the greywater one.)

The Bad Stuff:
Some minor rust spots here and there, but what really makes the van not-shine are the graphics on the side that are faded and peeling. (We thought about having them buffed off, and wrapping the van, but then decided that having a low-key van was preferable for stealth camping.)
Stereo cuts out intermittently. We tried troubleshooting it, but couldn't figure it out. It's most likely a loose ground or something, but can't confirm. It works 95% of the time, and cuts out only when the good part of the song comes on.

It's pretty ugly on the outside, but has a great personality.

Driver's door cubby thing is ripping out. I hate it and would just take it out if I were keeping it, but I'll leave it in, in case you want to find/buy a new one and you need it for reference.
The ceiling inside is hideous. Don't even look at it. (It was that way from the previous owner, and we never got around to replacing the carpet on the ceiling.

We went a bit too big with the countertop, so the driver's seat doesn't go back as far as it used to. It's no biggie if you are 5'10" or under, but if you are taller than that, be prepared to get a cramp in that one shin-muscle that you don't know exists until it cramps.

The Sale:
If you buy it, we will take it to pass smog before we sign the CLEAN title over. Registration is due soon, so we will happily pay for that as well so you can start off without the DMV annoyance.
All the gear in the drawers and cubbies are not included unless we come to an agreement. We will definitely use that stuff in our next van.

Overall, whatever this van lacks in high-tech gear and bells-and-whistles, it more than makes up for in the actual functionality of it. We thought about this design for like 2 years before we built it, and we can honestly say that it's really fun to camp in. It's everything you need, and nothing you don't. It's nice enough to enjoy, but not so nice that you don't want to go beat up on it a little bit to get to that one really good spot.

Please, for the love of God, include your phone number if you email us about the van. This is CL afterall, and we need to weed out the serious buyers from the time-wasters. If a phone number is not included, you won't hear back from us, no matter how good/serious the question is.
