Vehicle Description
This Focus has had extensive work completed to create a hill-climb car. A lot of effort was made to create a vehicle for a bucket-list Climb-to-the-Clouds event at Pikes Peak. New owner can complete car and use for hill-climb, rallycross or autocross events.
Full cage, tied into shock towers front and rear with braces between the towers.
A floor frame was created and tied into cage and unibody. Flat floor panels installed to allow improved ground effect.
Welded and reinforced subframes front and rear. Suspension arms have Poly-bushings, Custom valved, remote reservoir coil-overs on all 4 corners, Eibach swaybars front and rear.
Fiberglass hood, front fenders and dual element rear wing, Lightened driver and passenger doors, as well as lighted rear lid, Lexan side and rear windows, Saleen front bumper, rear bumper, fender-well flares and sideskirts.
Car weight; dry without driver, is 2280lbs
XRP Lines and fitting throughout
Fuel Safe fuel-cell with bladder, approximately 12 gallon capacity, Aeromotive fuelpump, Stainless Steel, Fuel
Filter and Regulator. Teflon fuel lines to engine bay.
Custom Air / water intercooler mount, mounted low on passenger side floor, with water/ice tank and pump, 3” tubing to and from firewall
Wilwood Swing Mount Clutch and Brake Pedals, reverse mount with 3 master-cylinders and reservoirs. Brake pedal has front/rear brake balance adjustment
FireX Halon 1801 Fire Suppression System lines and nozzles are installed, two pressure bottles are included
Custom gauge-panel with essential gauges
Custom Service Stands (4) that elevates the chassis for service work
Engine in the car is mock-up only, not running, but has custom aluminum intake manifold with fuel rail, injectors, injector harness, throttlebody with TPS sensor, intercooler tubing to the firewall, dry-sump oil-pan, oil-tank and multi-stage pump. Also has a custom stainless 4-1 turbo header. All items transferable to engine that will go in the car. Two additional stock Focus 2.0L long-blocks will come with the car.
Multiple boxes with parts will also come with the car; wiring-harnesses, stock clutch, new driveshafts, valves, front uprights, windshield wiper assembly, coil pack, alternators, springs, Sparco seat, harness, quick release steering wheel, along with many other items.
A Cosworth CGI block is also available separately, along with a forged crank, crower rods, pistons, turbocharger and good cylinder head (negotiate separate deal or package price for these unassembled items)
