Used Ford It Is A Sound Vehicle And Runs Great for sale in Buford, GA
Vehicle Description
- Engine: To the best of my knowledge the engine is a 390. A mechanic in town told me he replaced the engine in that truck back the late 90's. I have no idea how many miles are on the engine.
- Power Steering: The power steering pump is installed but has been bypassed and the fan belt no longer goes around the pump. The pulley shaft on the pump wore out. The steering wheel is hard to turn at a stop on pavement, a bit easier at slow speed or on dirt, and no issue at highway speeds.
- Rust: I have done my best to show pictures of the rust. There is no noticeable rust damage on the frame. The worst damage is in the floor boards - the thick rubber mats shown in the photos do a good job of covering the holes - good enough for my purposes.
- The exhaust pipe is broken off just past the muffler and is no longer on the truck.
- The tires drivable but are old and will need to be replaced soon.
- The right front tire has wear on the outside of the tire indicating a possible alignment problem, but the truck does not pull to either side when driving.
- The dash board is cracked from sun damage
- The heater works great. It does not have AC.
- People have asked if they would be able to drive it from here to wherever - probably but I don't know, it's a 45 year old truck and who knows when something will break. I do know when I get in and turn the key it starts. When I put it in gear it drives - down the highway at 60mph to my storage unit 55 miles away or up a jeep road in the woods. When I load it with firewood it drives back to my house. It has never broken down on me.
