Vehicle Description
This truck was never used much, thus the low mileage. It was my Father-in-laws truck and since he passed in 2003 it has sat in the barn and collected dust. It has the original big-block 454 4 bbl which starts and runs great with low original miles. It has some cosmetic blemishes like some body rust and a front bumper which appears to be twisted (from pulling?). The rust on the body appears to be only a few spots mostly surface. The bed however has small spots rusted through. The hood looks repaired in the past on the driver’s side hinge with a welded bar for extra support. The Beau James is rare luxury truck and rides nice: ½ ton soft-ride suspension on a heavy-duty ¾ frame with amenities like velour seats, wire wheels with white walls, A/C (not working but then again never tried charging it), cruise control, power brakes, power steering AM/FM radio (doesn't work), tilt steering. Vented side windows and headlight bright switch on the floor. No need to buy special fuel as this is the first model year designed to run on regular unleaded 87 octane gas right out of the local gas-station pump.
