Vehicle Description

Clean, well-maintained 2003 Mazda Protege LX for sale. Over 136,000 mostly-highway miles. This vehicle was used as a commuter car and treated well. Gets 30 miles per gallon on the highway. BF Goodrich Advantage T/A Sport tires have many miles left and were just rotated. Fresh oil change. New battery. Clear headlights. Windshield is very clear/minimal scratching and no chips. Aftermarket Sony AM/FM/CD stereo with removable front bezel, auxiliary input and remote control (no Bluetooth). A/C blows cold, heater gets piping hot quickly. Rear defroster works. Includes donut spare in trunk. Paint is scratched and has a few swirls and chips, but otherwise looks good and is not rusty. An incident with a deer (in which the deer hit ME, I didn't hit the deer) put a crack in the bumper, a dent in the passenger front quarter panel and door and cracked the door handle. The door opens and closes fine, but the passenger front window doesn't open all the way. The car has some oil consumption, about a quart every two weeks. The source hasn't been identified. Engine runs well and oil is kept topped up/changed regularly (every 3-5,000 miles). The suspension needs replacing, and I'll include the parts in the sale of the vehicle, but I haven't had time to have the pieces installed.
