Vehicle Description
I've only used 93 octane as specified, replaced the transmission fluid 15,000 miles ago, and always used mobile 1 full synthetic extended performance and filter for oil changes. There is minimal rust on this car. The clutch still has a decent amount of bite, so plenty of life left there. AWD is great in the winter as well.
I've installed or had installed many new parts to keep the car performing well because I'm not a person who waits until things are totally broken. No part is more than 15,000 miles old, or about 2 years, except for the K&N air filter which I cleaned ~ 10k miles ago. These include:
All 6 Bosch iridium spark plugs
All 6 Delphi coil packs
New Upper and lower intake gaskets
Both upstream 02 sensors (Bosch)
New Bosch starter
New coolant tank & coolant
New cabin air filter
Bilstein B4 front struts
Bilstein B4 rear shocks
Both lower front control arms
Both rear CV axles
Both rear wheel hubs & bearing assemblies
Both rear ABS sensors
Both rear calipers were replaced (OEM Bosch). The rear brake pads & rotors were done at this time using Power Stop ceramics. I have the front pads & rotors but they didn't need to be installed when the rear was being worked on.
All 4 new alloy wheels
All 4 new matching tires (less than 1,000 miles on them)
There may be some things that I've replaced that I can't recall right now. There are some other parts that I got that I didn't install such as the pair of lower rear control arms and the front pads & rotors that come with the vehicle.
The only really negative thing I have to say about the car is that the headliner was poorly reattached. It hasn't fallen but doesn't look too good.
