Used Land Rover DISCOvery II V8 4x4 (One of the LAST, with ONLY 121K-Miles) for sale in STATEN ISLAND, NY

Dear Lads, (cause most surely, no ladies looking for Landies out there)
here’s one of the last real~blooded non-emasculated DISCOS made in UK.
(before Merkel forced BMW to sell their Rover&Jaguar to the Indians of Tata)

No leaks, no problems, no rust, no accidents & everything works perfectly fine.
(except driver’s door-handle, that tends to get stuck from the outside, however;
the Remote-Key/ Alarm works, so I open it by pulling an improvised-handle. ;))

HISTORY: - My Family has been driving Discos since 1991, so when I got this one,
I knew what I was getting & I wasn’t wrong, cause this tanks had only 88K –miles &
everything was still under Warranty, which I extended up to the limit. (= 120K-miles)
Always kept in interior garage & used to commune between New York & West Point.
Now I’ve moved, but the car is parked in Staten Island & I’m there only on weekends,

ENGINE: This Disco has what was known as the “Bosch Power-Plant”, which basically,
is the Rover P38 V8 4.6L 222HP engine, that was used only on the last American-models.
Thus, I’ve used only Bosch electro-parts & the last Tune-UP was just done at 120K-miles.
I’ve always used only Super 93-Octane gas & whenever I could find, Non-Methanol ones.
Nonetheless, I’ve added a Zinc-bottle every 1K-miles, as a catharsis for methanol effects.
Also, always original filters from Land Rover & only Full-Synthetic Oil, ( SAE 20W-50 )
which (Via-Amazon) are much better & cost less than the ones on the lame chain-stores.

COOLING-SYSTEM: This Landy is my family’s 7th Discovery in the last two decades,
so I know way too well that the Cooling-System is the Achilles-Tendon for all the Rovers,
first, cause of the aging plastic parts & second, cause the sheeple uses the wrong coolants.
Therefore, I’ve used only SF Pink-Antifreeze & nothing else, (which only PEPboys has it)
& I’ve upgraded the original Fan & thermostat & I’ve changed the belt-rotator Clutches.
Also, I’ve a new upgraded 2019 Radiator, but the old one is still OK, so I didn’t replace it,
for being a weekend-car, so far has never been worked on extreme cold or heat conditions.

AWD 4x4 TIRES & all the rest under this Disco have been replaced & still under Warranty.
New $1K All-Terrain Tires are TOP of the line Cooper-DISCOVERER 265-65-17 which is,
the maximum size fitted, without further modifications & the suspension still feels like new.
I’ve Aligned the 4x4, Rotated the Tires & Balanced the Wheels twice a year (every Solstice)
& I keep all the Service Scans & Receipts. (all done free, as part of the Life-Time Warranty)
I’ve a new set of 8 brakes-pads also, just in case, case the current ones still have life to go &
I’ve replaced the Bearing-Wheels & have changed the Differential-Oils. All the rest is solid!

“The Three Amigos”. - Yes, of course they’re there & that’s normal, considering the fact
that they’re constant on all the Rovers & BMWs 2002~2010 with the Hill-Descent feature!
They first appeared on this Disco when the tires were changed, but they don’t bother me &
there are few videos on YouTube, that show how that sensor by-pass can be properly done.*
