If you are reading this you know exactly what it is that you are looking for. My 2011 BMW M3 Competition Package Coupe with DCT (dual-clutch) for sale. Only 48,000 miles.
This car has been babied. Features and points:
- Competition package means: A bit more HP, carbon fiber roof to drop weight and lower center of gravity for handling, LOWER to ground by 11mm, adjustable dampening, nicer exhaust note.
- This is a LATE model 2011, produced 5/23/2011. The late 2011s (less than 20%) actually had the 2012 model electronics installed.
- Acquired in 2014 with 9,600 miles on it. I spent almost 8 months looking before this showed up online (I knew exactly what I wanted). Was on a plane the next day... shipped to my house 4 days later.
- Really brilliant jet black, did full paint correction (30+ hours of labor) in 2015 plus CQuartz ceramic application. NEVER been through a mechanical brush wash to avoid swirls and paint spoiling.
- Killer 19" competition package wheels. New Summer Tires in the last 5,000 miles. If desired, I have a set of Blizzaks on separate rims available.
- Meticulous maintenance. Replaced throttle body motors at 45,000 or so (a $2500 problem) and JUST put new front rotors and pads on (another $1600). These are the things that tend to need to be done at the 45-50k mark so keep that in mind when looking at other vehicles.
- Custom installed 8500ci radar detector with active laser jamming. Super discrete in the ash tray. Has saved me a time or two.
- The dual clutch is INCREDIBLE. I was a purist and thought I would never get anything but a manual... but you drive this once and you become a believer. Insanely fast, crisp, perfect shifting.
Overall, this is an incredible car. Why for sale? I got a brand new 4 door M3 due to new baby and needing a "practical" dad mobile. I managed to keep this car an additional 9 months and now my wife says it MUST go (she said that 8 months ago, as well, and I couldn't bear to part with this car.
