Vehicle Description
This truck came off the assembly line in 1954 as an M-42 Command Truck. Later on the Army changed it to an M-37 Weapons Carrier. It can easily be converted back to an M-42 as all the necessary parts are available. The truck was used in Europe as evidenced by the civilian turning/brake lights that were installed. The markings are per the Army vehicle history, 3rd Army Weapons Command.
I put on a new ragtop and 3 new tires in August, 2020. For future use, if needed, are a set of new brake shoes I bought a few years back and never installed. It also comes with generator and water pump cores and enough unused canvas to redo both seats and seat backs.
