Vehicle Description
Car is in excellent mechanical shape with consistent maintenance throughout its life. Clutch engages fine and has lots of life left. 5 speed shifts well and really transforms the car, if you've ever driven a W123 wagon. This car can keep up with traffic, though it won't win any races.
Interior is in excellent condition, front seats have great foam and no broken springs. Rear carpet is worn, other carpet in great condition. New Coco mats for front and rear seats. Paint is in 20-foot driver condition. Jack points and floors are completely solid.
Since 2019, the car has received new Monark fuel injectors, front flex disc, front shocks, alternator, glow plug relay, tires, valve cover gasket, valve adjustment, hatch struts, fuel sender, fuel filters, muffler, front rotors, front wheel bearings, headlights, hood latch cable, etc.
SLS rear suspension works perfectly with no leaks, and was recently serviced. Bluetooth stereo and new speakers installed. Vacuum locks all work, though passenger front door unit recently went south. A replacement vacuum pot is included. AC worked fine last year, haven't used this year. Manual sunroof opens and closes fine.
This car is a fine example of a very rare spec 300TD. Asking $15,000 obo. No rush to sell. Might be interested in trade for vintage European car.
