Up for sale is my 1986 Mercedes 190D. it has 283500 miles
vehicle is in currently Chula Vista and has clean CA title.
Golden color.
The Good :
New Serpentine Belt and shock - 3000 miles
New glow plugs - 3000 miles
oil just changed
fuel filter just changed
trans fluid 8500 miles
control arms changed 8000 miles
glow plugs changed 8000 miles
fuel pump resealed 8000 miles
new shift bushings and front flex disc and many more just ask
sunroof and AC works
tires 75% left
the not so good:
cruise control not working
driver seat is leaning slightly to the right
some minor engine oil leaks that is normal for that car
transmission engages in reverse with delay
the paint overall is OK. Some clear coat peeling mostly on the front right fender.
It shifts fine forward, the engine starts instantly, and there are no surprises. Just add a fuel and have yourself a reliable classic German diesel.
Rare 1986 Mercedes 190D, Low miles, in excellent condition. What you usually see is 190E 2.6 and 2.3 and not 190D. No smog ever. Everything works. Power windows, power antenna. Every thing is original on the car but the radio. Good tires. Dash has no cracks. Gets about 30 mpg on the freeway. Diesel is cheapest now. Runs and drives great. Bought it from the original owner 10 years ago at 208000K and put in around 75K. Several long distance trips with never a problem. Current registration. These diesels run to 300K to 400K easily with proper care. No trades/tattoos/shipment or payment plans. Just renewed registration for another year in May 2019.
