MGBClasssics is most pleased to offer this 1969 MGC GT. This is a full restoration of a car that never had any major issues and was restored to exact standards according the British Motor Heritage certificate that accompanies the car.

With only a total of 9002 MGCs made, only 4458 were GTs, and only 1773 were imported to North America it's obviously an extremely rare MG in show quality condition. The paint of this 1969 MGC GT is British Racing Green (PPG Concept paint which is finished to a high standard) and is the original color along with the all Black interior.

Mechanically every part was replaced and restored using only Moss Motors approved parts. The original in-line 6 cylinder engine had all external engine seals and gaskets replaced. The pictures show the quality of workmanship and adhering to originality. A Pertronix electronic distributor is utilized (no more points to deal with), along with new Cobalt plug wires and new NGK plugs. The clutch and brake systems are all rebuild and/or new which include a 3 piece clutch, new clutch master cylinder, new slave cylinder, and a new clutch hose. The new oil cooler and oil cooler lines, along with the new radiator with polished brass top tank and polished brass overflow bottle provide cool running temperatures. All new radiator/heater hoses, and fuel line hoses. We installed a new electric fuel pump. New upgraded fuel sending unit and a new gas tank as well. A very high performance header system mated up to full stainless steel exhaust that completes the quality design.

An extremely desirable upgrade to this MGC is the triple 45DCOE Weber conversion kit. The triple Webers are impressive to see when the bonnet is lifted to expose the detailed engine compartment but the performance is certainly boosted as well! All electrics work as they should and are in perfect working order. We replaced the turn signal switch and new wiper switch with new Moss Motors parts. New rear tail light assemblies, and new reverse lights are added, along with a new single 12 volt battery.

The braking system has new rubber brake lines (front and rear), new ultra rare OEM master cylinder, along with all original brake booster system (all brake components are extremely rare to find, and it is in top notch working order). DOT 5 brake and clutch fluids fill all lines. With this all new braking system the car stops safely and firmly. The original 3.7 differential (another rare option on the MGC) rear end is in excellent working order with fresh fluids and seals. New front disks (and pads) with new front rotors are installed. All new brake shoes and new rear wheel cylinders enhance the stopping ability of this car. A new hand brake cable assures parking is secure. New front shocks assist in providing a comfortable ride for this grand tourer.

New chrome includes new front and rear bumpers, bumperettes, new chrome grill, new side chrome strips, new door handles and hatch latch handle, new headlight trim rings, polished aluminum drip rails, and front and rear window aluminum trim(usually left of with most restorations), along with new rubber, new rubber seals including headlight body gaskets, door seals, rear quarter window seals, engine compartment seal, rear hatch seals. A new GT hatch lift covers and buttons, new hatch "MGC MG GT" emblem. New windshield (with new windshield seal and filler strip, as well as rear hatch window seal and filler strip), new wiper arms/blades.

The interior is all new and reflects the quality workmanship we do at MGBClassics. New carpets and original leather seats invite you into a comfortable and luxurious driving environment. The interior is like stepping back in time and appears like new. This car drives effortlessly and the “big six” wisks you along and truly defines what “Grand Touring” is all about.

This car rides on 5 new - 15 inch "tubeless" Chrome Wire Wheels with new tires. Included are new 2 eared, chrome knock offs for the wire wheels. New 3 piece door lock set (both doors and hatch all matching). Many, many more parts added during this restoration, a detailed list is available. Battery Tender Jr. is hooked up to the battery for strong reliable starts every time.

There is absolutely NO rust on this car, nor was there ever any need for rust repair during the restoration process. This car never had any rust! The structure of this vehicle is spotless and is a rare example of a pristine 1969 MGC GT is is for sure to go up in value just as it's Austin Healey 3000(which was built in the same assembly plant originally) and is why the engines of both the MGC and AH 3000 are basically the same motor.

As a side note, I DO have the original steering wheel which is in stunning condition with new leather wrapped on the wheel(as original) and a new center "MG" center hub, and will go with the sale of the car should the new owner decide to put the original steering wheel back on in place of the current wooden one.
